Here you’ll find information on how I treat data that I collect from visitors to the website and when someone uses my contact form or registers on the site.
Visitors to this Website
When someone visits siteease.com I use third party software, Matomo, hosted at SiteE@se to collect standard internet log information and details of visitor behaviour patterns. I do this to find out things such as the number of visitors to the various parts of the site. This information is anonymised and processed in a way which does not identify anyone. I do not make any attempt to find out the identities of those visiting our website. You can find more information on how cookies are used on my website in the Cookies Policy below. If I do need to collect personally identifiable information through the website, I will be up front about this. I will make it clear when I collect personal information and will explain what I intend to do with it.
Using the Contact Us Form
To make it easy for visitors to emailSiteE@se I have a contact form on my website. Through this I receive visitor names and email addresses. I use that information to respond to requests, queries and comments that visitors may make. This information is stored in the ticket database on the website and is sent in standard email format to me and processed using using standard email software such as Outlook, Thunderbird, Apple Mail etc. If you are not a registered client of SiteE@se this data is deleted from the ticket database once the ticket has been answered and closed.
Registering as a Client to use Services
Right of Access to Personal Information
This client portal gives clients access to login and view their personal information (profile data). This same portal also provides clients with access to update their personal information including name, email address, postal address and phone number as well as any custom fields that are defined.
Deletion of Personal Information
Clients may request removal of relating to them including personal information in the user's profile. Data for current and past clients n relation to invoices is retained for six years to comply with HMRC tax and VAT regulations. Support Ticket & Email history is deleted 24 months after an issue is Closed.
Changes to this Privacy NoticeI keep this privacy notice under regular review. The date of the last update will be displayed near the top of the page.
